Pig-It-Forward did not begin as a campaign, a promotion or a program somebody planned in a meeting.
It began when one anonymous person chose to cover meals for somebody else.
That one act has now helped feed 500+ people.

Community contributions kept that first act moving.
Local people helping local people right here in Grants Pass.
Where It Started
The Community Built This
There was no Pig-It-Forward plan before somebody decided to help.
One anonymous donation covered meals for other people. No spotlight. No strings attached. No expectation of anything in return.
It was simply one person saying, “I want somebody else to eat too.”
Once we saw what that one contribution could do, we decided to keep the door open for other people who wanted to do the same.
One person went first.
Then somebody else contributed.
Then somebody else.
That is the entire idea behind Pig-It-Forward.
You do not need to solve hunger. You can simply help cover the next meal.
